Steve Hellem, President
Steve Hellem is the President of Navista, Inc. He has provided strategic counsel to associations and coalitions on a variety of environment, energy and technology business issues. He has helped organize, support and direct the day-to-day management of coalitions and organizations, provided legislative and regulatory counsel and advocacy, and provided communications and public relations support to a wide range of Fortune 500 companies that have been participants in organizations that he has managed or supported
He serves as the Executive Director for Corporate Environmental Enforcement Council (CEEC), Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) and the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI).
Steve has an A.B. in Political Science from the University of Missouri, was Captain, Military Policy Corp, United States Army, and has a J.D. from the International School of Law that is today the George Mason University School of Law.
Amy Goldman, Executive Vice President
As an Executive Vice President of Navista, Inc., Amy Goldman provides strategic counsel, management, planning support and membership development for Navista and its clients. She currently serves as the Director of the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI). She also provides strategic counsel to other clients of Navista. Amy was a Research Assistant Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) on environmental, energy and natural resources issues. And, she spent four years as an Environmental Policy Analyst at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) Environmental Health Sciences Group where she researched, wrote and designed several environmental manuals and training course materials as well as provided support on environmental compliance and enforcement initiatives.
Amy has a B.S. in Public Affairs, Environmental, Science and Management from Indiana University and a M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
Kellen Mahoney, Director of Research
Kellen Mahoney specializes in researching and assessing programs, issues and activities of governmental entities, companies and organizations. Kellen has provided program support and research services to various organizations, including the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI), the Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP) and the Corporate Environmental Enforcement Council (CEEC). Kellen has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Arielle Brown, Associate Director, Communications and Development
Arielle Brown specializes in web content creation, social media management, media relations, and event management. Her experience includes creating videos for websites; planning and executing regional media relations plans for major Hollywood studios; creating social media pages for clients; drafting news releases and collateral materials; and, participating in strategic communications planning. Arielle provides communications and marketing support to Navista’s clients including the pet industry, environmental and sustainability coalitions, retailers and non-profits. Arielle has a B.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
